MARVEL and The End of a Generation?

MARVEL AND THE END...?

I, like so many of you fans out there, have been watching Marvel for the longest time. Spider-Man, the Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, the Incredible Hulk...common household names in our culture today.
And now, Marvel seems to be wrapping up the saga that was leading us to this final moment since day one.
Is anyone else a little terrified? What do I think will happen?

First, I think that Bucky Barnes will become Captain America.
Second, I want another Black Panther, because, c'mon, Shuri didn't get the thanks she deserved.
Third, I think Loki tricked everyone in Avengers: Infinity War, and desperately hope he is somewhere in the universe ready to wreak havoc on Thanos.
Four, I think Groot saves everyone. Since he's a tree, and plants are life-giving.
Five, Ant-Man is stuck in the space-time continuum, or the quantum realm, and he ambushes Thanos with a surprise attack from the Otherworld. (No idea how, just that he does. This is a conspiracy theory, after all.)

Six, Spider-Man HAS to be alive. No way around it. I mean, I doubt MARVEL will kill off one of their most common characters...

Seven, Dr. Strange set it all up. He time travels. He knew what was going to go down with Thanos.

Any other fans out there with ideas?

In all seriousness, though, MARVEL is so ingrained in America that I think some of us are sad to see it not totally end, but...maybe...downsize. I, for one, am ready for the new wave of superheroes, but sad to leave behind older ones.

And no, I have not seen Avengers: Endgame.
So, what to do?
I would like to point out that all of this pure fantasy. Literally. The world will go on even if MARVEL does not. (Even if Disney owns it now).

A few verses that come to mind are in the New Testament:

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
---Matthew 24:35 (KJV)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
---Matthew 6:19 (KJV)

What does this mean? It means that, although we can be unnerved by earthly changes such as movies coming to the end of a decade, or stores going out of business, or beloved fantasy characters being changed or rewritten, we know that God is always constant. We still have the Holy Ghost, Jesus still loves us. We will survive. And although it's okay to be sentimental about these types of things, just know that you will move on. Life goes on. YOu are more important--your SOUL is more important--than any superhero. Because, really, Jesus is the actual superhero, because He died for us on the cross.

I am Groot!

God bless!
